Vietnamese Artists Highlighted At New York Origami Exhibit

Pioneering origami exhibition, “Surface to Structure,” held a showcase, “Folded Form,” at New York’s Cooper Union earlier this month, featuring the works of international artists including 5 Vietnamese.

The show, celebrating the exhibition’s 55th anniversary, showed 134 works from 88 artists including Tran Trung Hieu, Nguyen Hung Cuong and Hoang Tien Quyet, Nguyen Tu Tuan and Giang.

The work of these artists pushes the limits of the traditional paper-folding technique, now featuring a wide range of style and materials that also reveal the unbelievable imagination of these artists.
