This is way cooler than your kindergarten.
Do you remember what your very first school was like? Was it even worth remembering? Students at Da Hop School in Hoa Binh Province will surely have a hard time forgetting their unique place of study.
Designed by 1+1>2 International Architecture JSC, the school features colorful, angular roofs, a pristine football pitch and plenty of landscaping.
ArchDaily quotes the architects as saying the school features "a design towards friendliness, harmony with culture, nature and people. Overall the school is extremely lively with interesting diverse spaces, the classroom overlooking the surrounding mountains, where children can freely explore and experience surprises, increasing joy when go to school [sic]."
The design facilitates playing, which is the ideal for young children to learn, with spaces including practice and skills rooms, a swimming pool, theaters, aquatic gardens and more, as well as outdoor playgrounds and open green space.
The orientation of the buildings, along with the use of proper roof insulation and drainage systems, creates an interior that is protected from the heat, wind and rain of northern Vietnam.
