A 33-year-old British National died on Monday when he allegedly fell from a Phạm Ngũ Lão hostel’s forth floor balcony, reports Thanh Nien.
Police say that the man, identified as British national Matthew Ian Avis, was drinking beer at a hostel in Alley 283 on Pham Ngu Lao Street when he accidently fell and died on impact.
Sadly, this isn’t the only tragic hostel accident this year in HCMC. In October, a 21-year-old Argentinean woman was killed when the 5-story Budget Hostel on Nguyễn Văn Tráng Street burst into flames.
